Irvine, CA-September 1, 2016-Infinity Realty Advisors announced today the acquisition of the Hilton Irvine at the Orange County Airport, a 306-key hotel. The 10-story hotel sitting on 6.63 acres was constructed in 1985 and recently renovated in 2016. Situated on MacArthur Boulevard, directly across the street from the Orange County John Wayne Airport and within close proximity to over 53 million square feet of office space, the Irvine Hilton services a diverse base of leisure, corporate, and group travelers.It is also a short distance to the UC Irvine campus as well as high-end retailers like South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island.The newly renovated property features over 32,000 square feet of conference and event space,and a modern open space concept cocktail lounge & restaurant. Another feature of the renovation is the outdoor covered tent, converted from the former tennis courts, “this new event space allows guests to take advantage of Southern California’s year-round beautiful weather, and is the perfect setting for any outdoor gathering from corporate team building to wedding receptions,” said Karin Chao, Managing Director of Infinity.“We identified the Irvine Orange County Airport submarket for its thriving economy and large business community. There are over 20,000 businesses producing 200,000 jobs in the immediate surrounding areas,”said Chao, “Irvine’s business district is positioned for economic expansion and possesses solid infrastructure.“Infinity Realty Advisors, formerly known as Asia Pacific Capital, has a long history as an investor and asset manager in the hospitality sector.This is the second airport hotel acquisition for Infinity this summer. In July Infinity advised a China-based investor on the acquisition of the Holiday Inn LAX.
